Dental Implant Parts Manufacturers in the United States
At Spotimplant we are often asked where to find prosthetic components for specific dental implants or references.
For reference, if you are not yet familiar with our service: We help dentists and dental technicians identify dental implants. The next step is then, of course, to find and order the appropriate prosthetic components and instruments to restore the patients' dental implants.
Ideally, you would order the prosthetic components from the original manufacturer, but sometimes this is not possible: the manufacturer has ceased operations, it is a foreign company that is not available locally, you do not have enough information about the system, etc.
As an alternative, companies have emerged that offer "multi-platform systems": a range of prosthetic components that are compatible with many different implant systems. These manufacturers offer a prosthetic solution for older, discontinued implants or foreign systems and have an interesting price point. Some of these companies also offer fully customized components manufactured on demand for specific needs.

Wrapping up
As you may have seen, these companies offer parts compatible with the most common connections: Zimmer, Straumann, Branemark, etc.
But what happens if you have a case for an unknown implant or a niche model from a foreign company?
This is where Spotimplant can help: We can identify your implant from a periapical radiograph, and tell you if it is compatible with any of the common connections available. In fact, it is often the case that small or foreign manufacturers launch new implant models that differ in some aspects, but still use the same connection as the established companies.
