About
FMZ GmbH is a specialist in the manufacture of high-precision medical products. The company offers a wide range of services, from development, approval and registration to series production, coating, packaging and sterilization. The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485:2016 + MDASP, and the staff are committed to maintaining the highest quality standards in their production processes.
The core competency of FMZ GmbH lies in the manufacture of smaller precision components for orthopedic and dental implantology, as well as the associated instruments. State of the art CNC and measuring machines are used to meet the specific requirements of customers. Motivated and highly trained employees oversee the development and production processes.
The company was founded in 1999 and has since developed several implant systems and implant lines. These include the alphatech® dental implant system with the Tube-Line two-part, multi-indicative, conical-cylindrical implant with tube-in-tube design and inner hexagon as connection geometry between implant and abutment. They also offer the Slim-Line® implant line, a one-piece, bicortically anchored, diameter-reduced implant with DUOTex® surface, as well as the angulation concept and easyfixbase® abutments.
FMZ GmbH has undergone several relocations and expansions of their production facilities, and in 2018, moved to their own building at Charles-Darwin-Ring 3a in Rostock. Investments in new CNC machine tools and measuring machines were made to further increase the company's efficiency and flexibility.
