AUROSAN Dental is a provider of dental implants and prosthetics. The REVOIS® Classic product variant, first introduced in 2003, was highly innovative with platform switching, hexagon socket and etched surface. It was further developed until 2012 when prosthetic parts of this variant were the only ones sold.
The REVOIS® PRO product variant was developed by Riemser and first presented in 2011 at the IDS. The innovative elements of REVOIS® Classic were retained, with the conical part of the implant shape increased and the surface and osseointegrating thread optimized. Manufacturing precision and surface cleanliness became world class with the acquisition of Cendres & Métaux as a strategic partner. The packaging concept was improved for user-friendliness. In January 2015, REVOIS® PRO came to AUROSAN Dental, and was further developed with the addition of CM LOC® and CAD/CAM-capability. As of 2021, only prosthetic parts of this variant will be sold.
The REVOIS® compact product variant was developed by bpi systems and first introduced in 2012. The one-piece mini-implants supplement the range of REVOIS® implants, providing smaller geometries and anchors for space-saving superstructures. At AUROSAN since 2015, the packaging concept was transferred from REVOIS® PRO and the range of prosthetic options was expanded. As of 2021, only prosthetic parts of this variant will be sold.
AUROSAN has since abandoned the dental implant business and sold all remaining stocks to sodex GmbH. Sodex GmbH provides the required prosthetic spare parts and components from the original manufacturers (e.g. for Dalbo®, Dalbo®-PLUS, CM LOC®, CM LOC® FLEX, LOCATOR®, SFI-Bar®) from a single source. Additional parts can be requested by emailing sodex.gmbh[at]web.de.
